Element setup

Connect to CallChat.

CallChat is designed to stay Matrix-compatible. You can use Element while the CallChat-branded app is being built.

Setup steps

  1. Install Element. Download Element from Google Play, Apple App Store, desktop, or the official Element website.
  2. Choose custom homeserver. During sign in or account creation, choose the option to edit or use a custom homeserver.
  3. Try callchat.org. Use this first when Matrix `.well-known` discovery is configured.
  4. Fallback to matrix.callchat.org. If your client does not discover the server from callchat.org, enter matrix.callchat.org.
  5. Create or sign in once registration is enabled. If CallChat is invite-only, contact the admin for an invite or account help.
