CallChat service and founding-deployment terms.

These terms cover the hosted CallChat service and the current paid Q Call / Shield founding deployment. Read them before checkout.

Operator and contact

CallChat / TalkToAI operates this service. Commercial, payment, cancellation, invoice, and deployment questions go to shaf@talktoai.org. Required contracting identity and address details will be supplied in writing before a paid founding deployment is accepted for activation.

What the paid offer includes

The current paid offer is a founding Q Call / Shield deployment for one approved public server IP, with unlimited users on that deployment. It includes entitlement/IP verification, private activation, an installation review, and setup email. It does not include private source-code publication, a second production server, staging rights, 24/7 support, a guaranteed SLA, certification, or custom engineering unless agreed in writing.

Price, renewal, and payment

The monthly plan is USD $55 per month and the annual plan is USD $550 per year. Both are recurring PayPal subscriptions until cancelled. PayPal provides the payment receipt. Taxes, invoice details, purchase-order requirements, and organisation details should be agreed before purchase where applicable.

Activation and delivery

A PayPal return URL is not proof of payment or activation. CallChat verifies the transaction, selected plan, contact email, and public server IP before issuing the private activation. The founding-deployment target is activation or a clear follow-up within two UK business days after verified payment and accepted deployment details.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancel future recurring charges from the PayPal subscriptions area and notify CallChat. Closing the site does not cancel PayPal. Refund requests are reviewed against payment status, activation state, agreed scope, service already delivered, and applicable statutory rights. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Server IP, migration, and failover

The licence is bound to one approved public server IP. Contact CallChat before an IP change, production migration, disaster-recovery activation, or simultaneous failover. A single licence does not automatically cover two live production servers, staging, or an unapproved replacement address.

Accounts, security, and recovery

You are responsible for account credentials, verified devices, Matrix recovery material, ZMath recovery factors, server administration, backups, and lawful deployment. CallChat does not currently provide self-service password reset because public signup does not collect a verified recovery email. A password change alone does not recover old encrypted history.

Acceptable use and service protection

Do not use CallChat for illegal activity, harassment, abuse, spam, malware, credential theft, unauthorised surveillance, or attempts to compromise systems. Access may be limited or suspended to protect users, infrastructure, intellectual property, or legal obligations.

Technology boundaries

CallChat is Matrix-compatible and may interoperate with Element clients. Live calls use MatrixRTC/WebRTC, DTLS-SRTP, LiveKit, and TURN. CallChat does not claim that live audio packets are quantum-encrypted. Shield and Q Call do not by themselves create a regulatory certification, DPA, BAA, independent security audit, or compliance status.

Intellectual property and confidentiality

The licence grants use of the approved Shield deployment while the subscription and entitlement remain valid. It does not grant rights to republish private ZMath source, bypass entitlement checks, reverse engineer private server components where prohibited, or disclose confidential activation material.

Availability and liability

The hosted showcase and founding deployment are evolving services. No uninterrupted availability or fitness for a regulated purpose is promised unless agreed in writing. Keep independent backups and a tested recovery plan. Any specific liability allocation for an organisation should be agreed in a separate written contract.

Privacy and changes

The privacy notice explains service data handling. Material changes to paid terms will be published with a new effective date. Contact CallChat before purchase if these terms do not match your procurement, consumer, security, or regulatory requirements.
