Q Call is the secure-call posture layer around real calls.
Today, CallChat calls run through Matrix/Element WebRTC with device identity, DTLS-SRTP media protection, and TURN relay support. Q Call adds the CallChat layer buyers can understand: Shield status, call posture, policy evidence, protected files, and an upgrade path for reviewed post-quantum cryptography as the standards mature.

CallChat's distinct work is the ZMath protection workflow around messages, files, vault notes, and call policy. Post-quantum algorithms remain a reviewed migration path. Current audio uses WebRTC and LiveKit frame security. The optional IonQ route creates a separately held, hardware-linked factor that is required only when its ZMath profile is enabled; it is not QKD.

Q-Calls
Protected call mode uses owner-controlled MatrixRTC/LiveKit frame encryption with a required in-memory ZMath media factor. Owners can add a separate IonQ hardware-linked factor to the same call-root derivation.

CallChat-compatible deployments can use Matrix infrastructure with a separate ZMath license.

CallChat Shield is included on callchat.org as the hosted showcase. Users do not manually
invent Shield passwords or pattern images for normal protected message/file/call actions; the
compatible CallChat app/module creates and manages the needed local Shield material automatically.
Other Matrix or CallChat-compatible servers need a paid ZMath license to enable the proprietary Shield message, file, vault, and call-status policy layer. ZMath / Zero Boundary Algebra stays out of public browser JavaScript; public pages describe the benefit, not the private implementation.
